
The Eurockeennes Rock Festival takes place in Belfort, France every summer and last year celebrated its 20th edition, with a massive 100,000 festival-goers! For the occasion, Activis brought the festival website to life and also created in 2009 a festival portal, which brings together all of the different festivals and events managed by the Eurockeennes group.
The redesign of the site for the 2008 line-up was definitely a job for Activis. The new graphic charter was added to the mix to of new features and a CMS – Direct News – integrated for easy updates. Designed to reflect the festival’s image, the site features all types of media – photos, videos, players and more. The aim was to create a site in the “here and now;” communicative, not complicated. The result was just that, a festival website, light but informative, fun and full of things to view and listen to.
The site was also created to ensure optimal online visibility and to boost SEO. The main theme of the optimisation was centred on ‘rock festival’ and the targeted keywords carefully selected in French and English, ensuring the Eurockéennes festival played to a national and international audience!
