The project
The University of Haute Alsace recently launched a new initiative, whereby students and members of staff now hold a Campus Card, named “Pass Campus.” Among other things, the card can be credited in order to allow for purchases or access into buildings on campus, uniting all current cards into one. The mission
Activis and UHA came up with the idea of creating a Facebook application which allows students to add special offers, deals and reductions as they find them, thus sharing the information with the University community. The UHA also found that this encourages members of the community to take part in finding and adding new offers, which can also feature and voting system for best offers, offers of the month and so on. Offers and promotions can be added and searched by category, making the tool useful and easy to use, and so far a great success!
