Provost are no 1 in France for the manufacture of manual handling equipment and industrial storage solutions. With distrubutors the world over, it was time for a website capable of international expansion.

The mission
Provost specialises in shelving, racking and industrial workshop fittings and have been leaders in their industry in France for over 45 years. Provost needed a website to boost sales and allow them to sell their products directly to clients via their site, and not only in France. The UK is also an important market for the group, who now boast increased sales throughout the UK, as well as budding presence in Poland and Germany.
The project
The redesign of Provost’s website required a reshuffle of their sales approach online, in order to complement their initial marketing strategy. Not all products are destined for online sale, for example, mezzanine storage platforms are not sold internationally, and so Provost’s strategy entails targeting specific industries though specific products.
The website focuses on industrial racking and shelving, for office and commercial use. Direct Shop promotes the sale of complementary products, thus providing complete solutions to clients, but also boosting online sales.
